Visitation Rules
Support people are to be clean and sober
during the time that clients are in treatment.
Visitors must attend the treatment session (shaded on the
treatment schedule) prior to or following a scheduled visiting time in order to
participate in that visiting time – each time they come to visit. The other approved "tickets of
admission" to a posted visiting time is a scheduled family therapy
session.
Sessions start promptly on time and
visitors arriving late will not be permitted to enter. We
have this policy because we want to stress that our primary focus is treatment
and the importance of family treatment.
Please note that family members are encouraged to attend all of the
approved group activities. Visitors must
sign the visitors’ book each time they visit Pacific Ridge. Children are
welcome to attend groups if they are able to benefit from the group and can act
appropriately and not distract others. We have no babysitting capacity at
Pacific Ridge and children must be supervised by their parents at all times. Visitors must not bring nicotine, candy,
beverages, food, cell phones, or other non-allowed items into the facility. Visiting during the Friday evening AA meeting
is not allowed; visiting is permitted before and afterward for those
who have attended the meeting.
