What to Bring/Not Bring

What to Bring:
A. Comfortable clothing for meetings, many clients wear sweats.
B.  Rain Gear: Jacket, hat, umbrella for walking outdoors in the rain
C.  Tennis shoes (2 pairs)
D.  Bathrobe, slippers, pajamas or nightgown
E.  Gym clothes
F.  Enough clothing for a week
G. Personal Items:
    Toothbrush and toothpaste or powder, dental floss
    Hairbrush and comb
    Deodorant
    Shampoo, cream rinse and/or shower cap
    Shaving supplies
    Menstrual supplies (as appropriate)
    Medications - prescription and Aspirin, Advil, Tylenol, etc.
H. Change for the pay telephone
I.  AA Book
J.  NA Book
K.  Writing material (paper, envelopes, in pen, postage stamps)

What Not to Bring:
    Clothing that exhibits drugs (including nicotine or caffeine), paraphernalia, music groups, gambling, alcohol products or any other inappropriate material.
    Cologne, perfume, aftershave or other products with alcohol in them or that hide smells.
    Radios, recorders, cellular telephones, game boys, or walkmans.
    Valuables: PACIFIC RIDGE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR VALUABLES.
    Food, candy, or drinks.

    Each resident will have closet space and dresser drawers available to keep their clothing. No space is available to protect valuables.  Residents bring valuables at their own risk.
    Pacific Ridge will provide sheets, pillowcases, blankets, towels, washcloths, and a waterproof mattress cover.  Toilet paper and soap will be provided.  Laundry facilities will be available for residents to wash and dry their own clothing.  Residents are requested to follow the directions for the machines posted in their laundry area.
